Now that we finally found our club it’s surely time to swing!

TABU signs ‘primal caveman’ death metal act, GOAT THE HEAD!

Hailing from the muddy areas surrounding the river Nidelva in the Norwegian wilderness, GOAT THE HEAD are a barbaric four-piece that strip ‘raw’ of its arcaic meaning. Musically brutal, uncouth and coarse in appearance, the Trondheim-based band embodies nature at its worse.

Their penchant for keeping it “simple and organic” also reflects in their live shows that are peppered with nudity and primitive rituals.

Featuring Per Spjøtvold (ATROX) on vocals, Ketil Sæther (LUMSK) on guitar, Snorre A. Hovdal on bass and Kenneth Kapstad (ANIMAL ALPHA, ex-GÅTE) on drums, GOAT THE HEAD are getting their bare knuckles ready to enter a cave and record their debut for TABU RECORDINGS (release in autumn this year).

Something for you to gnaw on? Of one thing you can be sure. It’ll be the mirror image of its own creators: brutal, frenzied and bone-crushingly real.
