07 april 2008: SOME SUMMER FESTIVALS LINED UP!!!!!!!
We are playing some cool festivals this summer. First up is Fosen Rock Festival which we are headlining on Friday May 30th, one week after that we are doing Trondheim Jazz Festival. This will be a kind of special show.......more about that later.......Then we have Nordre Odalen Rock Festival on June 28th, which we are really looking forward to. And last but not least: Metal Rock Fest at Lillehammer, which include bands like Opeth, Twisted Sister, My Dying Bride, Hanoi Rocks, Trouble and Susperia. We are constantly working on new dates, so keep your eye on this site!!!!

15 february 2008: MANIFEST CONFIRMED FOR METAL ROCK FEST
MANIFEST is one of the bands conformed for Metal Rock Fest, set to take place on the 15th and 16th of August 2008, in open air, near Radisson SAS Lillehammer Hotel, Norway. MANIFEST will play on August 16th. Other bands confirmed so far include Twisted Sister, Opeth and My Dying Bride.

03 october 2007: MANIFEST sign with MORNINGSTAR RECORDS. Norwegian release date confirmed!
"MANIFEST are happy to announce that a deal with Morningstar Records has been inked and the new album, HEDONISM, will hit the streets in Norway on November 26th!!! An European release of the album is planned to early 2008. A statement from the band about the collaboration with Morningstar Records reads as follows:

23 december 2006: mixing process on new MANIFEST album is finished by: MANIFEST
We finished up the last bit of mixing on the new MANIFEST album about a week ago. The album consists of 10 tracks and ticks in at a little over 40 minutes. We had a real good time recording and hangin out at Spiren Studio and Knut has outdone himself on this production. We are proud to say that it sounds totally bad-assed! We`ll propably put out a sample or something in not too long. When it comes to mastering, we will wait until we have a deal with a record label, and take it from there, but we have a pretty good idea of where we want to have it done. Knut has also done a "temporary mastering" of the album which sounds pretty decent.
In January we will start working on finding a label to release the album, get the cover done and stuff like that. We are really eager to get out and do some gigs again too; feels like forever since the Entombed tour.

24 october 2006: MANIFEST enters studio to record new album by: MANIFEST
We are entering Spiren Studio at Støren with producer Knut "Fug" Prytz on November 2nd to record the follow-up to 2005`s "Half Past Violence". Knut has previously worked with bands like Bloodthorn, Keep Of Kalessin and Necrophagia. He is also working as a producer for Moringstar Records. We will spend three weeks recording the album and when we`re done, Knut will do the mixing, also at Spiren Studio. Right now, we are rehearsing the new material, re-arranging the songs, changing parts and so on. We are looking at a total of ten new tracks.
09 september 2006: norwegian tour in support of ENTOMBED will go as planned. by: MANIFEST
OLE had an examination of his arm on Friday and the results were good. The norwegain tour in support of ENTOMBED will go as planned. Good news is that now, we are aslo supporting ENTOMBED is Oslo, so that means six gigs instead of five with the swedish masterminds. The MANIFEST headline-gigs we had to cancel in Kristiansand and Oslo are most likely to be re-scheduled for later this year.
31 august 2006: OLE breaks elbow. MANIFEST forced to cancel gigs by: MANIFEST
OLE, our guitarist, fell of his bike yesterday and broke his elbow. This puts us out of business for some time. Here is what he has to say about the situation:
"Yesterday I fell of my bike and broke my left elbow. This forces MANIFEST to cancel the upcoming gigs in Horten, Kristiansand, Trondheim and Oslo. I am not sure if we will be able to do the Norwegian tour in support of ENTOMBED. I am going to an examination at the hospital in a week, so hopefully I`ll know more then. The timing of this stupid accident could of course not have been worse, as we have a lot of gigs in the near future. This sucks bigtime, but there is nothing we can do about it. Right now, my arm hurts as hell, but at least, the doctor believes that it will heal fast and not have any permanent damage. For now, I`ll just eat painkillers and focus on getting well. Check back for updates! "

28 august 2006: Norwegian tour with ENTOMBED by: MANIFEST
MANIFEST is confirmed as main support for the mighty ENTOMBED on their upcoming norwegian tour! ENTOMBED is one of our favourite metal bands ever and to join them on the road for five gigs will kick major ass!! The tour kicks off at Blæst in Trondheim on friday 22nd of September and finishes in Kristiansand on September 28th. Check the concerts section for the full schedule!
Kenneth Einarsen has joined Manifest on bass! We have spent a lot of time with this crazy bastard lately and we thought it was about time that he joined us. Kenneth is about exactly what we were looking for in a bassist and band member and we are really exited that he wanted to join the band. By the way, we had a ridiciously good time at the Motörhead Tribute. Thanks to Blæst for arranging this night and thanks also to all the people who showed up!!
Manifest are playing at the Motörhead Tribute Night which is to be held at Blæst in Trondheim on April 30th. We will perform three kickass Motörhead tracks, and since we also are doing Nattrock with Griffin earlier the same evening, this will be one hectic day, and we`ll propably be on stage late at the Motörhead Tribute!
24 mar 2006: Report from the rehearsal room, Alessandro on tour with Griffin & more... by: MANIFEST
It`s been a long time since the last news update, but we have been locked inside our rehearsal room since christmas, working on new material and drinking beer! So far the new songs include titles like "Den der ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta", "Gammel Thrashen", "Kjøre Bil Låta" and so on...in between coming up with great titles and rehearsing, we even managed to record a preproduction for several of the new songs........amazing........
As most of you propably already know, Alessandro is joining heavy metal maestros GRIFFIN, playing drums on their European tour as support for King Diamond. The tour kicks off on May 9th and finishes on June 7th. They have been rehearsing for the tour at our rehearsal place since Febryary, so it`s been a lot of activity there for the last two-three months and the place smells like hell!! But however, good luck to Griffin on the tour!!
And last: Manifest have parted ways with bassist Cato Iversen. During the last weeks we have been working with a new guy on bass. No desicion has been made if he will join Manifest full time, but he will be plaing bass on the upcoming gig with WITCHHAMMER in Halden on April 8th. Hope to see a lot of metalheadz there!

We are currently negotiating with a couple of record labels about the release of Half Past Violence. Hopefully we can have something worked out in the near future. Not knowing how long things will drag out is kind of a frustrating situation, but we do not want to rush things at the moment. When we have something worked out, we will present it here. Also, we will not play any shows until the release party, unless someone offers us a lot of money of course...
The video for 'Dead End Spiral', which was shot in Trondheim earlier this year, has already premiered on norwegian national TV on the program Metal Blender. It will most likely be on Metal Svisj (also on NRK2) early next year. We are waiting for the web-version, and it will be uploaded as soon as we have it...

Sorry for not updating the studio report site in ages, but things are taking longer than expected. Due to all the other recordings being done in the studio these days (or should I say months...?) there is not much spare time for us to record...What`s left of the recording process are mostly vocals, but also some guitar leads and a couple of bass tracks. Alessandro recorded percussion a couple of weeks ago, and things really start to sound killer!! We will post a new update on the studio report site as soon as the video for the bass recording is ready...
